2012 AEFCA Symposium dates determined
11 June 2012 – At its last meeting in Luxembourg on 22 May, the AEFCA Executive Committee determined the timing of the forthcoming XXXIII Symposium of the European coaches’ body to be held in Split, Croatia, with Sunday 18 November and Thursday 22 November planned to be arrival and departure days, respectively.
Should any date changes become necessary for whatever reason, these will be made known without delay.
The ExCo meeting in the Grand Duchy was generously hosted by the Fédération Luxembourgoise de Football (FLF), whose President, Paul Philipp (capped 55 times and national head coach from 1985 to 2011) made a point of personally welcoming those present.
In addition to deciding on the Symposium dates, the agenda included further key issues, amongst them the selection process of possible venues for the
2013 edition of the event, the search for new funding opportunities, finding replacements for committee members as of the new electoral period (from late 2013), and a soon-to-be-carried out poll among the 46 AEFCA member organisations; more details to follow soon.
Once again, our warmest gratitude is due to the FLF for their kind hospitality.
