36th AEFCA Symposium in Sochi from 26th to 29th October 2015
Following our successful 35th Symposium in Zagreb (Croatia), we are happy to note that the 36th AEFCA Symposium is going to take place with our Russian friends in Sochi from 26th to 29th October 2015. Sochi is a city and district on the Black Sea in Russia. It is located in the Krasnodar region near the border with Georgia and Abkhazia. Its population is 343,334 (according to October 2013 count). Sochi is one of Russia’s most popular seaside and health resorts. The city’s surroundings are often referred to as “the (Russian) Riviera on the Black Sea.” Sochi has a university and hosted the 2014 Olympic Winter
Games and Winter Paralympics. 2014 also saw the first Grand Prix of Russia (Formula One) and the World Chess Championship taking place in Sochi. In 2018 Sochi will be one of the host cities of the FIFA World Cup.
