Meeting in Warsaw on 4 December 2010 within the framework of the 31 AEFCA Symposium hosted by Poland, the members of the Executive Committee had unanimously approved of the Albanian application to join, much to the satisfaction and joy of SHKTF President Bejkush Birce and General Secretary Kreshnik Agolli, who were also attending the event.
Having been officially registered in Albania since September 1997, the SHKTF currently represents more than 300 members who have obtained their UEFA A (44) and UEFA B (267) Licenses, respectively. Their admin offices are situated at the headquarters of the Albanian Football Association (AFA) in the capital Tirana.
