German coaches guild analyses 2010 FIFA World Cup at ITK in Düsseldorf

3 September 2010  -  Almost 1,000 Pro and/or A Licence-holding coaches met in Düsseldorf from 2-4 August 2010 for the 53rd International Coaches Congress (ITK) hosted by the German AEFCA member, the Association of German Football Coaches (Bund Deutscher Fussball-Lehrer, BDFL).

30 August 2010 - Willi Ruttensteiner (47), Director of Sports at the Austrian FA (Österreichischer Fußball-Bund, ÖFB) and one of the keynote speakers at the XXVIII UEFT Symposium 2007 in Helsinki, has taken pen to paper and produced "Learn from the Best!", a book offering an insight into more than a decade's work that may well become a source of reference for future coaches.

27 August 2010  - It is 30 years ago this year that one of the founding members of the AEFCA, the Swiss Coaches Union (Union Schweizer Fussball-Trainer, USFT) was established at Zug, with René Hüssy elected as its first President. René went on to become one of the AEFCA's Honorary Vice-Presidents and sadly passed away three years ago.
