20 December 2013 – Many of the attendees of the 34th AEFCA Symposium (and, of course, all those who couldn’t make it to Antalya) will already be looking forward to having access to the presentations delivered there.
The following papers are now ready for download from the “Coaching/Training Aids” section:
– Gérard Houllier / FIFA
“Top Football Before World Cup 2014”
– Werner Mickler
“Coach the Coach?”
– Martin Hindley / UEFA
“UEFA Training Ground: Digital Assistance for Coaching”
– Christian Holzer
Regrettably, the presentations given by Martin Hunter (Southampton FC) and UEFA Disciplinary Director Karl Dhont have not been cleared for publication.
Also included is a video of the practical demonstration featuring the MP Antalyaspor Under-19 team under their coach, Gökhan Geylani.
Meanwhile, the first few press reports covering the event have been published; these also include articles written for various AEFCA members’ magazines and are available for download from the NEWS section (click on “AEFCA in the press”). Watch this space for further contributions, especially expected from all member organisations.
FIFA were kind enough to provide every coach attending the Antalya symposium with his/her own copy of the report and DVD produced after the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey, as well as of the 2013 Confederation Cup in Brazil.
UEFA, for its part, kindly supplied the DVD of the Under-21 European Championship, with the corresponding report available for download by clicking here.
The technical report of the Under-19 European Championship in Lithuania, as well as of the Under-17 tournament in Slovakia may be viewed by visiting the following:
First introduced on 22 August, the new “Publications” section has quickly gained many followers.
At the time of writing, ten member organisations had put their respective newsletters, magazines, etc. at our free disposal. Hot off the presses, the 04/2013 issue of our Finnish colleagues’ publication “Jalkapallovalmentaja” features the first review of the Antalya event.
This section can be found under the “Member Organisations” navigation point.
