ÖFB-Seminar for Soccercoaches
Austrian Soccer-Ass. ÖFB organized an advanced trainingseminar for soccercoaches with UEFA-Pro-, A- and B-licence.
ÖFB-Sportsdirector Willi Ruttensteiner welcomed more than 300 participants, who were educated in theories (EVN-Forum in Maria Enzersdorf) and practice (Generali Arena).
In the opening-presentation Willi Ruttensteiner related on the austrian soccer in comparison to international soccer. Austria improved continuously and in the meantime it is established in the top-ten ranking of international soccer.
Werner Gregoritsch, headcoach of austrian under-21, explained the succesful way of austrian youth-teams and he prepared the participants for the practice-session following the next day.
Dany Ryser, UEFA-Instructor and member oft he Jira-Panel, reported about decision making processes for coaches .
Holger Osiek, FIFA-Instructor, discoursed about his coaching-experiences (as well abroad) within a humorous lecture.
The practical part oft he seminar set the focus on implementation of a match-philosophy (Werner Gregoritsch and Niko Kovac) and on quick-switch after balloccupation. (Dany Ryser).
Kris van der Haegen, head of education and training of the Belgian Soccer-Ass., flagged up the belgian way to become no.1 in international soccer-rankings.
