Successful BÖFL course at Schielleiten
16 August 2012 – It was with justified pride that our Austrian member, the Bund Österreichischer Fußball-Lehrer (BÖFL), hosted its 43rd further education course at the Schielleiten sport centre from 29 June to 1 July, mainly focussing on The Attacking Game, as well as on the match and training philosophy of a typical U16 side.
Also in attendance was Africa expert Otto Pfister (74), who coached the Ghanaian U17 national team to the world champion title in 1991. Currently in charge of Trinidad & Tobago, the renowned technician spoke about the latest developments and tendencies in African football and shared many an anecdote from his rich career with a captivated audience.
Certified fitness coach Martin Omischl gave a much-applauded presentation on “Coordination, Balance, and Stabilisation Training for Children and Teens”, available for download on www.boefl.at – “Fortbildungskurs Schielleiten 2012” (in German only).
