Swiss FC Basel, homeclub of AEFCA-Treasurer Willi Schmid, hosted a two day coaches-education workshop to a group of german Coaches from Hessia, lead by Jörg Udo Keck, BDFL-Boardmember. Marcel Koller, Headcoach of FC Basel and Massimo Ceccaroni (Head FC Basel Youth-Academie) introduced the methodology of developing young players on top-niveau, who aged 22/23 will leave the club and play football in European Topclubs.
Willi Schmid lectured about the “Swiss Way” (Solidarity, Identification, Joy and Respect) and presented “The Football Club Social Alliance – Together We Inspire”. He informed about the “Young Coach Education Programme”. Coaches from FC Basel, Bayer Leverkusen, Queens Park Rangers, Austria Wien and Werder Bremen educate young coaches in Indonesia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Sudan, India and other countries.
